hello!
My name is Marci Bolin; formerly Marci Linhart. I live peacefully with my husband and dog, Chris and Nova, in northern Colorado. We’re mere hours from our respective hometowns located in southern Colorado.
Visual art went on a hiatus for me near the end of high school as I began fully pursuing performance art. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2022 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. With a slowly growing indifference to the theatre near the end of college, I enrolled in a handful of art classes. Consequently, I discovered my affinity for painting and rekindled my fondness for drawing.
Art in all forms has been a major supporting pillar in my life. For as long as I can remember, the urge to capture a moment and recreate it on paper or canvas has amused me. I especially love trying to replicate the most organic, natural shapes of a subject or object. When doodling in my sketchbook, I often find myself drawing women, food, and Nova.
My current goal is to continue creating art, building my portfolio, and working toward a creative career that challenges and fulfills me.
